
The first Environmental Enhancement Strategy for the Yorkshire and Humber Region was published by YHREF in September 2003. The Strategy presented 5-10 year regional objectives for environmental enhancement arranged within four themes, and a set of practical, 2-5 year actions to achieve those objectives. Much has been achieved since then, thanks to a wide range of people and organisations, but much remains to be done.
During 2006-7 we reviewed the Strategy, consulting on options for different approaches and different actions and in February 2008 published a revised vision.
