Tender: Museum Sector Support
CO2 Sense Yorkshire, Renaissance Yorkshire and Welcome to Yorkshire would like to commission a one year project that will support museums in the Yorkshire and Humber region to address sustainability issues.

We are seeking experienced organisations to engage museums, deliver a variety of support including one to one advice, dissemination events, mentoring and evaluate the overall impact of the project. Green Frog Power Ltd is seeking an environmental expert

Green Frog is a new company building a series of small power stations across the country branching out from South East Yorkshire. These will export electricity to the National Grid using generator sets running on diesel, gas and, where possible, biofuels.

They are currently seeking to strengthen thier planning team by appointing an in-house environmental expert with a track record of successful planning applications and environmental permits. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of all aspects of air-quality assessments and modeling, sound-impact assessments and the preparation of flood risk assessments, including use of relevant software.

Initially based in south Yorkshire this will be full-time job which, will require a degree of travel. Candidates must be able to produce work to a tight timetable and to a high degree of accuracy. Key to the role will be interaction with local authorities and the Environment Agency with whom you would be required to liaise on a daily basis.
