This year's conference was held on Wednesday 18th November 2009 at the Country Park Inn, Hessle Foreshore.

The 2009 Humber Estuary Conference was jointly sponsored by Humber INCA, the Humber Management Scheme and Humber Chemical Focus. The morning focussed on recreation and tourism around the estuary and the afternoon session was on energy and the Humber environment.

Over 120 people attended the Conference this year, making it the the biggest Humber Estuary Conference yet.
