Business as usual or a green new deal?

Next month's Copenhagen summit on climate change is the most crucial international meeting since the United Nations was set up in 1945. The world will be watching for 10 days next month as attempts are made to hammer out a deal that will combat climate change. What would constitute a good deal and and what will attempts to move to a low-carbon economy mean in practice for businesses? An expert panel will discuss the stakes involved and what the agreement should contain.

A panel featuring:

  • Andrew Simms, policy director, New economics foundation
  • Paul Golby, chief executive, E.ON UK plc
  • Cath Bremner, head of international development, Carbon Trust
  • Other speakers tbc
