Think you’ll be feeling blue after the festive excess? What better way to start 2012 than to have some green laughs (and eco-networking/banter) courtesy of Green Drinks!

COMEDIAN: For our first event of 2012, our special guest comedian is Tony Vino, who is well known as a socially aware professional comedian (he used to compere Just Fair Laughs Leeds - a comedy night supporting fair trade).

Tony Vino has been a pro comedian for over 7 years touring both nationally & internationally. A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, he has enjoyed recognition as a comedian & comedy compere of renown.

Tony is best known for the way he seamlessly mixes well thought out observational humour with audience interaction & quick witted responses. His life and interests are wide ranging, and so is his material, all performed in a warm, friendly & non-offensive style.

EXTRA GUEST ACT: We are delighted that in addition to Tony’s comedic talents we have Professor Fiddlesticks, probably Yorkshire’s greenest entertainer, sharing his rubber fun. The Prof will be running a balloon modelling workshop and he will be dropping in some extra eco-hints & tips, including how to recycle balloons!

CHARGING: Green Drinks isn’t designed to make money; however, because Tony is a professional comedian, we need to charge for the event to cover his cost. The first 30 tickets will cost £5.00 + Eventbrite fee. The rest will be £6.50 + Eventbrite fee.

CHARITY: If the event does make a profit over and above the expenses, all profits will go to the rainforest protection charity www.bloomtrigger.com.
